2nd Water Energy Food Ecosytems NEXUS Forum in Tanger, Morocco February 5-6th 2025
To strengthen capacities of local stakeholders in integrated resource management and foster multilevel cooperation among local, national, and international authorities to achieve resilient development, the Energy-Water-Food security Nexus solutions 2nd Forum gathered over 400 participants from 41 countries. Held on February 5-6 in in Tanger Morocco, this high-level event tackled the increasing scarcity of water resources, and their overexploitation coupled to increased pressures on food and energy systems due to geopolitical crises. Sahara Wind presented the synergies between renewable energy solutions and sustainable agriculture Integrating Green Hydrogen on a broad scale. Morocco’s projects and case studies on the role of desalination in improving water security have been thereby demonstrated.
